Travel bloggers Garrett and Jessica host the popular VovTube.com channel The Bucket List Family. Their recent video brought them a lot of attention again, but in a bad way in this case.
Many viewers did not like travel bloggers sending their seven-year-old daughter Dorothy and five-year-old son Manila to swim in sharks.
This did not happen in any dangerous way, but the children were "wrapped" in diving suits and provided with oxygen. They themselves stayed in a special cage, which kind of experience is organized. Dad was with them in the cage not that he would have benefited greatly if the sharks had access to the children.
However, there were big holes in the cage that make the video dangerous for commentators: Blood-thirsty fish could, in the worst-case counted seconds, reach their screaming target.
Deep diving is usually (depending on the location) allowed between the ages of 8 and 12, but with such young children no one has tried and recorded it.
