Huawei today unveiled its new Mate 30 series phones, new smart watch and TV in Munich. Although some things got answered, there is still one big question in the air.
For example, it turned out that Google apps aren't really coming with the new phone, but Huawei is still using the Android operating system. Instead of the Google Play Store, you can find the Huawei App Gallery, which is the manufacturer's own app store and has over 570 million apps, according to Richard Yu, the company's chief executive. In addition, Huawei has plans to invest more than $ 1 billion to attract more.
This means that other applications that Google allowed Huawei phones to remove some clones or replacements are likely to receive. Examples include Maps, Search, and Gmail.
However, it is still unclear whether the phone will be launched in Europe. At least while in China, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Singapore it is certainly not to be seen in our markets, despite the fact that company manager Richard Yu presented the prices of all phones on the stage in euros.
Huawei Mate 30 comes with $ 899 for 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, $ 1,099 for the Pro model with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and $ 2,095 for the special Mate 30 RS Porsche, which comes with 12GB of RAM and 512 GB internal memory. In addition, the 5G phone is coming, but its price is not important for the Estonian market as it will definitely not come here due to the lack of 5G networks.
There is nothing very remarkable about new phones. If so, maybe a Cine camera on the Pro model that can take, for example, 4K video at 60 frames per second. It also provides an active bokeh effect in the video.
Another notable solution is a virtual "knob" on the edge of the screen, which means you can adjust the volume or control the camera app by moving your finger on the side of the screen.
Kuid nagu öeldud - kõige põletavam küsimus jäi vastamata ning kindlasti jääme ootama edasisi uudiseid selle kohta, millal ja kas Mate 30 seeria telefonid ka Euroopa ning Eesti turule jõuavad.
